During 1860 Census he was 57 and a merchant. Deacon of Kensington Congregational Church from 7/15/1860 to 10/17/1875. Superintendant of Church School 02 JAN 1864. Appointed Delegate to a council convened at Cromwell "DEC 2 [NOV 29] 1863". BPLH Room Card Notes record that he died at age 89 years; Hale Cemetery Records record that he died at age 59 years.
