According to BPLH Room Card Notes, he was born to Mr. & Mrs. Louis Koch. He was a WW II veteran. Graduated from Meridian High School, Mississippi and Swanee Military Academy TN and attended University of Mississippi. He was employed by Fafnir Bearing Co.. He enlisted in the Army Air Corp in OCT 1942; received his wings at Blytheville, AK in APR 1944. He went overseas in SEPT and was killed in action over Mindanao, Phillipines on 26 OCT. Joseph had a brother, Charles T. Jones. |
