From Guilford, North Wallingford. Married 1st Eunice Cowles of Meriden; married 2nd Achsah Norton. Lived in the large house at south end of Toll Gate Rd.. That house [364 Toll Gate Road] later became Dannheiser Restaurant. Jedidiah gave Berlin Congregational Church first organ. During 1791 served on a Town Committee to ship provisions to Boston. Children Samuel and Ruth were baptized at Kensington Congregational [Christian Lane] Church. During 1775, Jedidiah and his 2nd wife, Achsah, were members of Berlin Congregational Church.
