Norris came to Boston in 1635 on the ship, "Patense". He removed with Hooker in 1636 to Hartford and had a home and farm on corner of Washington St. and Capitol Avenue. He was a surveyor of highways, townsman, and a [?] viewer. In APRIL 1691, he was a deacon in 1st Church.
Another BPLH Room Card records that he was born in 1608 and that he died on 10 JAN 1696. Grandson, Samuel resided in Wethersfield. |
