He and son, Luther, had a cooper shop. In 1825 -1835 listed as 5th building from north end of Lower Lane. In 1860 Census he was listed as a cooper and age 78 years.
Luther and 1st wife, Mary Tryon, were married at Kensington Congregational Church; both were from Berlin. He married 2nd Harriet. Luther died at age 85 years.
