Native of Preston, CT. He married 1st Maria A. Chappell and married 2nd Maria S. Peck. He graduated from Yale in 1825. He was ordained at Stonington Congregational Church where he served for several years. Then he became Pastor of Center Congregational Church, Haverhill, MA. He was dismissed 12 APR 1838. He was installed as Pastor of Berlin 08 MAY 1838; dismissed 09 AUG 1841 due to failing health. He purchased 858 - 860 Worthington Ridge, Berlin [house circa 1860] and conducted school at this address. He sold land at 703 Worthington Ridge, Berlin to Nathan C. Warren. He died at age 89 years.
