He was President of Berlin Savings Bank from 1944-1963; President of Savings Bank Association of CT in 1956 and Treasurer of Savings Bank Association of CT from 1926-1961. He was Chairman of the Republican Town Committee for 15 years and for many years he was Treasurer of Worthington Ecclesiastical Society and a member of the Berlin Congregational Church. He built 33 Middletown Rd in Berlin as a rental property; built home on Worthington Ridge.
