Edward was the son of Josiah. He had an extensive trade in the south, especially in Augusta, Georgia and in Wilmington, N.C.. His factory burned in 1844 and was rebuilt; later became part of Mr. Damon's tin shop. Edward joined Berlin Congregaational Church on 06 APR 1828. He was listed in Postmaster's letter [microfilm] in MAR 1839. He died at age 49
