Elton died at age 80 at Ridgeview Health Center in Cromwell. He had been a resident of Kensington since 1951. He was a graduate of New Britain High School, class 1942. Elton was a
World War II US Army veteran. He was a builder and carpenter with Abrahamson Home Builders for forty years, having retired in 1986. He was amember of Kensington Congregational Church;
the Hartford Chapter of Disabled American Veterans; the Berlin VFW Post; and SVEA Social Club.
He was survived by his wife, Grace; a son, Eric Abrahamson, and his wife, Nancy, of Bristol; a sister, Martha Lewis of Kensington; two sisters-in-law, Vera Abrahamson of Kensington and Eda Johnson of New Britain; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Leonard Abrahamson. Memorial service was held at Kensington Congregational Church. Online memorial guest book at www.carlsonfuneralhome.com. No calling hours.
