Elizabeth died at age 90 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Willmington, North Carolina. She was the widow of Alfred Joseph Talbot. She grew up in Kensington and was a member of St. Paul Church there. She retired from Stanley Works in New Britain. In 1981 she moved to North Carolina and resided with her son, Roger. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church there. Elizabeth waas survived by two sons, Roger Talbot of Leland, NC and Alfred Joseph Jr. of Southington; three sisters, Frances , Mary and Julia; five grandchildren; and ten great-granchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Diane Wright. Funeral services and calling hours were held at Porter's Funeral Home in Kensington. Funeral liturgy at St. Paul Church in Kensington.
