Nancy died at age 59 years at her home in Vero Beach, FL. She had lived there since 1999. She had previously lived in the New Britain - Kensington - Wolcott areas. She had been employed by the New Britain School Department as a teacher for 27 years, retiring in 1998. She taught at Camp, Holmes and Smith elementary schools and at Slade and Roosevelt middle schools. She was a member of the American Federation of Teachers. After retirement she moved to Florida. She was predeceased by her parents, Lillian [Ross] and Willard H. Anderson of Kensington. She was survived by a brother, Bruce K. Anderson of Avon; a niece, Tracie-Lee Burr of Roswell, GA; and her former husband, John Putinski of Vero Beach, FL. Donations to Vero Beach Humane Society.
Seawinds Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
