Madelyn lived most of her life in Berlin. She died at New Britain General Hospital. Survivors included her husband, Frank P. Bocompani, Sr.; two sons, Frank P. Bocompani, Jr. of Plainville and Joseph Bocompani of Berlin; three daughters, Camilla Ushinski of Terryville, Nancy Drummond of New Britain, and Melanie Lacana of Wethersfield; five brothers, Anthony Toce and Mark Toce of Berlin, Rocco Toce of New Britain, Charlie Toce and Frank Toce of Seattle, WA and; a sister, Joyce Colella, of Seattle, WA; and eleven grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Paul's Church, Kensington. Calling hours were held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, Rocky Hill.
