Peter was predeceased by his wife, Lotti. Peter died at New Britain General Hospital at age 89. [cataloger note: the date 22 JUNE 2003 has been handwritten at bottom of obituary notice with no citation]. He had lived at 207 Lower Lane, Berlin. He had been employed at Fafnir Bearing Company and had retired from Lower Lane Dairy. He was survived by a son, David P. Bochan of Higganum; a daughter, Madeline Kowalski of Westbrook; three brothers, Michael Bochan of Plainville, Walter Bochan of Southington, and Frank Bochan of Germany; two sisters, Ann Wasik of Plainville, and Mary Chiz of Niantic; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Veronica Tessman. Porter's Funeral Services were in charge of arrangements. There were no calling hours. A graveside service was held at Maple Cemetery. Donations to charity of donor's choice.
