Thomas lived at 1243 Worthington Ridge, Berlin. He grew up in Hartford later moving to New Britain and residing there for 35 years. He lived in Berlin the last 15 years of his life. He retired from Fafnir Bearing Co. after working there for 35 years. Thomas was a member of St. Ann Church, the Genrale Ameglio Society, and the Italian Fraternal Society. He was a former Park Commissioner for the City of New Britain. He was a avid golfer and pool player. Thomas died at age 92 at New Britain General Hospital after a short illness. Survivors included his wife, Helen; son, Richard of Plainville; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Lincoln Versachi of Berlin; four grandchildren, Ricky, Stacy, Jamie, and Erica; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother and one sister. Funeral Services and calling hours were held at Sagarino Funeral Home; Mass of Christian burial at St. Ann Church.
