Armand died at age 77 at New Britain General Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife, Carol. They had lived at 85 Tree Hill Rd., Berlin. Armand was a graduate of Berlin High School and Goodwin Technical School and served in the US Army in Korea. He was a retiree of Delta Tool Company, having worked there for 35 years. He was a member of St. Paul Church and the Berlin AARP. He was survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Suzanne Bonola of Westerly, RI; a daughter and son-in-law,Linda and Thomas Retano of Berlin; his mother-in-law, Katherine Tronski of Kensington; a sister-in-law and her husband, Melanie and Salvatore Bonola; four grandchildren, Michael, Kevin, and Nicholas Retano, and Benjamin Bonola; and three nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by a sister, Josephine Bonola.
