Alphonse was the owner and operator of A.S. Labienic, Inc. at 945 Farmington Avenue. He had bought the property in 1909 and sold hay, grain, feed and poultry supplies, and seed there. Business had been started by Wickwire, Brown and Stanley in 1867. In 1946, he and wife, Agnes, were living at 84 Grove Hill, Kensington.
