He was predeceased by his wife, Irene. Raymond died at age 80 at New Britain General Hospital. He had lived on Kenwood St., Kensington. He was a WWII veteran and received five Bronze Battle Stars. He was retired from City Iron Works, Wethersfield. Raymond was a member of St. Paul Church, Kensington. He was survived by his daughter, Linda of Bristol. Funeral Services and Calling Hours were at Porter's Funeral Home, Kensington; Funeral Liturgy at St. Paul Church. Burial was with military honors. Memorial donations to Berlin Visiting Nurses.
