Ronald died at age 87. He was a native of New Britain, moving to Kensington in 1945. Ronald was predeceased by his wife, Dolores. They had lived on Timberwood Road, Kensington. He resided in Massachusetts the last two years of his life. He was a WWII US Army veteran. He served in Africa and Europe and was a Purple Heart recipient and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the VFW Post in Berlin. Ronald retired from Weiner Auto Parts in Bristol in 1980 where he was store manager for 25 years. He was a charter member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Kensington and the "Over the Hill Gang" there. He was survived by his son, Ronald of Malden, MA; two grandsons, Douglas Dalke of Andover, MA and Matthew Dalke of Willmington, MA; five great grandchildren, Jacob, Samuel, Christopher, Casey, and Cory Dalke; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Kensington. Calling hours were held at Carlson Funeral Home. Burial was with military honors in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. Memorial donations to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
