Hilldegard, widow of Charles Dannheiser, died at age 86 at her home, 656 Toll Gate Road, Berlin, CT. She and her husband owned and operated the Dannheiser Inn, Tollgate Rd, Berlin. The inn had been established in the late 1950's. She continued to operate the inn after her husband's death, retiring in 1985. She was predeceased by an aunt, Helaine Gorski, who worked with Charles and Hildegard at the inn for many years. Calling hours and funeral service were at the Edward A. Zigas Funeral Home, New Britain. Burial was private.
