Frances died at age 83. She was living in Crowley, Texas. She was a former teacher in Berlin. She was survived by her husband, Anthony; a son Marshall D'Avanzo of Texas; a daughter, Anne Hill of Texas; six grandchildren; and one great- grandchild. The funeral was at St. Joseph Church in New Britain. Luddy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
