Edward died at age 64. He lived on Mattabassett Street, Kensington. He retired from Connecticut Natural Gas in 1992. He was a member of Kensington Congregational Church, the South Kensington Volunteer Fire Department and the Walnut Hill Lodge AF&AM. He was survived by his wife, Dorothy Patricia Brown Davis; his mother, Elsie Thomas Davis of Newington; two sons, Glenn of Kensington and Jeffrey of Middletown; and a brother, Harold V. Davis of Bolton. Funeral services and calling hours were held at Carlson Funeral Home in New Britain. Memorial donations to Kensington Congregational Church or to Southington VNA Hospice.
