Normand Albert Ayotte of Florida, MA died at home at age 70 of cancer.
Formerly of Berlin where he had lived for 34 years.
Married to Yvette A. Dufour for 50 years.
Employed by Fafnir Bearing Company 9 years.
Owned and operated Midstate Formica works from 1960 until retiring in 1993 and moved to Florida, MA.
Member of St. Paul church, the French Model Council Club, St. Jean Baptiste Societe in New Britain, the Indian Head Snowmobilers and the Florida Mountaineers Snowmobile Club in Massachusetts.
Enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survived by his wife, Yvette; four sons and daughter-in-laws, Danny and Janice Ayotte of Berlin, Rodney Ayotte of Meriden, Michael and Mary-Jane Ayotte of Kensington, and Jimmy and Donna Ayotte of Windham; six brothers, Richard and Gerald Ayotte of Kensington, Tony Ayotte of Plainville, Sylvio and Jean Paul Ayotte of Southington and Reginald Ayotte of Parkman, ME; three sisters, Albertine Dufour Ayotte of Stockhol, ME and Jeannine [Ayotte] Gallegos and Rita [Ayotte] Thibeault of Southington; and eight grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, Bertand Ayotte.
