Sarah A. Murr of Berlin died at age 84.
Member of St. Paul Church in Kensington.
Ann Inspector at Fafnir Bearing Co. for many years.
Volunteered at the Friendship Center in New Britain and the local Salvation Army.
Predeceased by her husband, Peter Bakaj, Sr.; her brother Michael Murr; and her sisters, Jeanette Nealon and Victoria Gwara. Her longtime companion of 15 years, Salvatore Amenta predeceased her in November.
Survived by son Peter and his wife, Leandra of Farmington; her daughters Barbara Wirta and her husbandRonald of Waterford and Patricia Stalk and her husband Brett of Farmington; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her sisters, Maryann Mazurowski and Jean Chupron, both of New Britain and Viola Godek of Florida; her brothers Edward Murr and his wife Shirley of New Britain and albert Murr and his wife Jean of Plainville; many nieces and nephews.
