Died at age 72 years. Was a graduate of New Britain High School. Employed at National Automatic Products, Berlin, as a design engineer until his retirement. Member of St. Paul 's Church; a member and past President of the Berlin Lion's Club, where he was active in the state as a past District Governor. He held numerous State cabinet positions, and was honored as a Melvin Jones Fellow and a Knight of the Blind. Was a member of the Board of Directors of the New Britain-Berlin YMCA , and a member of the Berlin Chamber of Commerce.
Survived by his wife, Geneviev [Gut] Boryczki; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Maryann Boryczki of Kensington; a daughter and son-in-law, Diane M. and Andrew Coppa of Berlin; two brothers, Chester Boryczki of Cromwell and Henry Boryczki of Berlin; two grandsons, Kevin and Jeffrey Boryczki and several nephews.
Funeral services and calling hours were held at Porter's Funeral Home, Kensington. A Mass of Christian Burial was said at St. Paul's Church, Kensington. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home and Porter's were mutually in charge of arrangements.
