Died at age 54 years. Formerly of New Britain, she resided in Berlin for 27 years. She attended New Britain Schools and was a graduate of New Britain High School class of 1960. She received a master's degree in education from Central Connecticut State University and was a teacher at Hubbard and Willard Schools in the Berlin school system. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, East Berlin and a member of the Berlin Education Association.
Survived by sister-in-law Karen Biscoglio of Berlin; a brother-in-law and his wife, James and Eileen Bosco of New Britain; a grandson, Joseph V. Bosco; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Vincent F. Biscoglio, Sr..
Rite of Committal was held at New Britain Memorial Funeral Home followed by a Funeral liturgy at St. Ann Church, New Britain.
Family requested donations be made to the George Bray Cancer Center, New Britain in memory of Gloria (Biscoglio) Bosco. Special thanks were extended to Dr. Peter Byeff and his staff, the staff of C-5 at New Britain General Hospital, to the staff of Hospice of Central Connecticutt, the staff of Interim Health Care, and Father Ron Smith. |
