Died at age 74 years at Hartford Hospital. Was residing on Winchell Dr., Kensington at time of death. Mr. Cabelus was the first building inspector employed for both the town of Berlin and the state of Connecticut. He was survived by two brothers, William Cabelus of New Britain and Robert Cabelus of Middlefield.
Funeral services were at Farrell Funeral Home, New Britain. A Mass was said at St. Paul's Church, Kensington. Memorial donations were made to St. Paul's Church Memorial Fund.
