Died at age 83. Raised by Hilding and Annabelle Anderson. Member, former deacon of Kensington Congregational Church, past pres.of its Men's Club, chairman of the Church Renovation Committee (he handmade the chandelier and cross in the church.) Member of the former '33' Club, served on Berlin's Park and Recreation Committee. With his wife, Ruth, ran the frog-jumping contest at the Berlin Fair for 35 years. Employed by the Tuttle & Bailey, Div. Of Allied Thermal for 44 years, retiring in 1976. In addition to his wife and children, survived by two granddaughers, Rebecca and Jennifer Hubbard, both of Berlin, several nieces and nephews and a cousin, Martha Bengston of Kensington. Donations to his church or the Kensington Volunteer Fire Dept. |
