House 18th building from north end of Worthington Ridge in 1825 - 35 listing.
Number 914 Worthington Ridge, Berlin. Circa 1790 house moved to present site. Two daughters ran a school in the front chamber. The house property became the site for the Berlin Congregational Church.
Daniel became a member of Berlin Congregational Church in 1801. Was appointed Deacon in 1822.. Was one of Berlin's first abolitionists.
He was a pump maker and also involved in ox yokes and wood.
He died at age 88 years. Grave inscription says he was part of Capt. Heart's Co., Col. Wolcott's Regiment during the Revolutionary War.
