He was the youngest son of Jonathon and Elizabeth Langdon. In 1801, Jabez was appointed rate maker. He sat in Box 10 during 1835. In DEC 1842 chosen Treasurer of Kensington Congregational Church; 23 DEC 1846 he was authorized to collect debts. He died at age 81 years.
