Charter member of Harmony Lodge AFEN organized in 1791. Masonic emblem on tombstone. Owned his baptismal vows 28 JUN 1763 and owned covenant at Kensington Congregational Church (Christian Lane) Church since 1756.
Kept Inn on Hartford, New Haven Path at Boston Corner - licensed March 1796. Later known as Berlin Hotel, 812 - 814 Worthington Ridge, Berlin, corner of Worthington Ridge and Middletown Rd.. He was a Constable in Middletown and one of the leading inhabitants of Worthington and Hartford County. In OCT 1772 sold land to Worthington Parish. Church was built. He was a member of Berlin Congregational Church.
