Master tinner, partner with his brother William Bulkley in the J. & W. Bulkley Co. (n.b. name is spelled "Bulkeley" in North). The company is listed in the American Advertisers Directory for 1832. He joined the Berlin Congregational Church in 1815, his wife in April 1829. Died at age 48. North reports that he and his wife, Ruth Savage, had a family of "bright and pleasant daughters", their names are not given, only daugter Maria's name is known along with their children who died in childhood are available. He died at age 48.
