Associated with F. Roys in 1834 and plant became Roys & Wilcox - had complete line of tinware tools and machines, mechanics tools and pulleys..Plant burned down in 1836. During 1840 set up plant in Berlin known as F. Roys & Wilcox 1855-1870. During 1844 he bought Justus Bulkeley building; after he died they made snips, bench shears, tinners tools, machinery, machine tools and pulleys.. Later became Corrugated Metal Co. of the Mattabassett River in East Berlin and later the Berlin Bridge Company. Built a large brick building which housed an iron foundery, machine shop and drop forge. Manufactured complete line of tinners tools and machines, mechanics tools such as blacksmiths pincers, pulleys and hardware items. This became Peck, Stow & Wilcox which purchased Hart, Bliven and Mead Manufacturing Company in Kensington. Lyman was a Berlin Selectman in 1824,'25 and '26. Lyman joined Berlin Congregational Church in JAN 1844. He died at age 36 years.
