Was educated in New Britain Public Schools. During 1899 began business with P. G. Dun and Co., Hartford. Joined Russell and Erwin Sales, which became Corbin Screw three years later. He continued there for 36 years. Retired on a pension inn 1935. Made his home in Berlin with three sisters - Fannie H., Linnia J., and Mary E.. Was Police Court Judge for 27 years. Member of Berlin Grange, Post of Sons of Veterans, member of Berlin Congregational Church.
