Walter lived at 1006 - 8 Worthington Ridge, Berlin cica 1905. He was a large landowner. Bought property in 1890. He ran Gwatkin's, W. - Meat Market. He sold beef, mutton, pork, sausage, ham, and vegetables in season. Market was open every evening. Ran a cart through Berlin and East Berlin everyday (1892). He was a prosperous butcher, farmer and large landowner.
