A resident of Berlin since 1946, she was a member of the Berlin Congregational Church, Women's Federation, New Britain General Hospital Nurses Alumnae Assoc., New Britain Museum of American Art, Friends of the Library, New Britain Women's Club, Art League of New Britain, and Berlin Garden Club.
She was a life member of the New Britain General Hospital's Ladies Auxillary, New Britain Boys' Club, Salvation Army, and the Berlin Historical Society.
In addition to her son, she is survived by sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews in the US and Sweden, and cousins.
A memorial service was held at Berlin Congregation Church. She died at age 90.
