Baptized in the Kensington Congregational Church. His wife, Eunetia, became member of Kensington Congregational Church from East Haven churchin 1813, he joined the church in 1821. His children were baptized in the church,. According to church records his wife was a widow at the time of their last child's baptism. There may some confusion in the date of his death or the date of the baptism. Cemetery records say he died in 1823, child (Luman 2nd) was baptized in 1822 according to church records. Died at age 34.
