He was postmaster of the Kensington Post Office in 1932, address is Kensington Road, Kensington, Conn. He is not listed in the 1946 directory. He was vice president of the Kensington Library Assn. 1920-22 ; 1944-1945 ; 1946-1950 ; 1952.
Catalog card notes record that a Sidney Cowles of Main St., Kensington owned a store on the site of the former Berlin Savings Bank (the south corner of Main St. and Kensington Rd.) "About 1923 sold to Jack and Paul Giana and Charles Ronketty." Same individual was a deacon in the Kensington Congregational Church on Jan. 6, 1910 and "23 Nov. 1905 - meat market - lard, burrer, eggs, pork, poultry."
