He was listed as age 47, a farmer residing in East Berlin in the 1860 census.
He and his wife joined the Kensington Congregational Church on a profession of faith on Nov. 4, 1860, was appointed a delegate to the Council at Worthington [Berlin Congregational Church] on Mar. 1, 1861 ; was a member of a committee to settle a parishioner's account in 1863 and again in 1864 ; listed as a male member of the church in 1860 ; was baptized as an adult in the church. He was a selectman for the Town of Berlin in 1855-1856 ; 1861-1870.
Died at age 84.
