1 Married 1st Martha Hart; married 2nd Elizabeth Wright , both marriages in the Kensington Congregational Church. He and wife Elizabeth joined the church in 1756. Deming genealogy records that "he appears to have lived near the New Britain line" as his first wife and son are buried in a cemetery on Christian Lane. Catalog card note records that he lived on Worthington Ridge as well, "where the Prentice House is now." He was in the service in the French & Indian War from March 31-Nov. 17, 1758; reached the rank of Colonel. When he died the inventory of his estate (in which he is referred to as being "of Wethersfield" , there is included "one old negro man judged not worth anything." Deming Genealogy - p.25, 47
