Married 1st Mary Wilcox Hart at Kensington Congregational Church; William and Mary both from Kensington. He married 2nd Mary Aurelia Hough. He joined Kensington Congregational Church on 03 JUN 1842. In 1861 he was collector of the West District for Kensington Congregational Church; in 1864 on Standing Committee; in 1865 Delegate to Council in Plantsville; and in 1867 Delegate to Conference Churches in Plainville. He was Deacon of Kensington Congregational Church in 1870 and 03/30/1904. Title "Dea." appears with his name on his headstone inscription.
