Baptized at Kensington Congregational Church by Rev. Samuel Clark. Married at Kensington Congregational Church; both Matthew and Urania were of Kensington. Matthew and Urania had 11 children. Three of their children died in infancy as follows; 22 JUL 1784, 14 NOV 1787, and 25 MAR 1788. He and Urania were living in Fabius, NY in 1803. Matthew married 2nd Widow (ROGERS) HOPKINS of Wallingford, CT. He also lived in Truxton, NY. He died at age 80 years.
