Honor Treat was married to John Deming, one of the early settlers of Wethersfield. The Deming genealogy records that the dates of her birth, marriage and death are not known. Nor is it certain that she was the first and only wife of John Deming or the only mother of his children. There may have been 10 children born to John Deming and possibly to Honor Treat Deming, but the dates of their births are also not in public records.
