During American Colonial wars he was in Pequot War, 1637 under Mason. He was a Deputy from Farmington to General Court of CT 1647-1655. His first wife's name is not known, but they had 7 children. He married 2nd Margaret, widow of Arthur Smith. His death date is given as 1682/83. He died at age 77 years.
