BPLH Room Card Notes record "drugs, groceries, etc in Ken. 228 Grove St., East Berlin. Bought property from East Berlin Building Co. Land Development Group headed by principals in Berlin Iron Bridge Co.. Built about 1896". He was Treasurer of Berlin Savings Bank from 1910-1925 and Assistant Treasurer in 1906, Corporator and Trustee in 1911. He was a Justice of the Peace. He was on the Berlin Finance Board and became chairman. He formed the Worthington Fire District- Index of All Town Records. He was Clerk and Treasurer of Berlin Congregational Church and Deacon from 1899 until his death in 1925.
