He was a blacksmith on Worthington Ridge and one of the founders of Kensington Congregational Church. During 1776 the church elected him a Rate Maker. On 07 DEC 1737 he was given 12s by Kensington Society, Christian Lane, for a frame to the Meeting House glass. During 1775 he and his wife, Elizabeth, were both members of Berlin Congregational Church. In 1776 he was a Captain. His grave has no flag or marker.
