George died unexpectedly at home in PA. He was formerly of Hickory Hill Rd., Kensington, CT; he grew up and lived most of his life in Newington, CT. He worked many years for the Connecticut Milk Producer's Asssociation (later H.P.Hood) from which he retired. He died at age 66 years. Besides his wife, Roberta, he was survived by foster brothers, Don Steadman of Rocky Hill and Ed Sousa of Plainville; an aunt, Esther Hosford of Newington; and many cousins. A memorial service was held at Kensington Methodist Church on 19 JUN 1999.
