1862 ledger, p. 84, records her marriage to Dr. Caleb Austin as: "2nd husband of Lois Pattison, who was b. 4 Jul 1807." She was previously married to Calvin Winchel. Researcher should also check spelling "Patterson"-- catalgoer's note.
Variant spelling of given name is "Loisa". Lois and Calvin Winchel were married at Kensington Congregational Church; both were from Berlin. She was the 10th child, 7th daughter of Shubael and Sarah [Hart] Pattison.
