Museum Passes
Discover what Connecticut has to offer with free and discount passes to museums, zoos, parks, and other activities.
Borrowing Guidelines
- Passes may be reserved and printed up to 30 days in advance.
- Passes are valid only on your reserved date.
- Maximum limit of 2 unique passes per family, per month.
Printable Passes
You can print most of our passes from home! Printable passes can be reserved and printed even when the library is closed, and they don’t need to be returned to the library.
Since they do not need to be returned, there is never any late fee or replacement cost for printable passes.
Returnable Passes
Returnable passes cannot be printed, and must be picked up and returned to the library.
These passes may be picked up after 1:00 pm the day before the reservation date, and must be returned by 12:00 noon the day after the reservation date. The Library is closed Sundays, so passes for that day need to be picked up on Saturday. They may be returned in the bookdrop in their protective sleeve.
If a returnable pass is lost or damaged, you are responsible for the replacement cost. Some passes can cost $150-250 or more.
Reserve Online
You may reserve both printed and returnable passes online. To reserve by phone, call 860-828-7125. Passes are in limited supply, so reserve ASAP.
The Library uses MuseumKey to reserve passes online. MuseumKey allows you to view, cancel, or re-print your reserved passes by clicking on My Account.
